The Group Finance department at the headquarter is now looking for a Data Analyst to strengthen the team.
Your new job:
To meet internal customer expectations, demands and requirements, we are looking for a Data Analyst.
You will be a key player in the Group Finance department, and your key responsibility will be to develop the common reporting consolidation tool, BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation, an SAP product), which is used throughout the Trelleborg Group. Working closely with the Finance team and other internal stakeholders, you will ensure that we deliver the right solutions and support to our colleagues, both locally and world-wide. Trelleborg currently runs a project to migrate from a version of BPC to an SAP HANA database. You will take active part in this important project. We are also developing the analytical capabilities with the software Power BI. You will become a key player also within this area.
Some of your tasks and responsibilities:
- Take active part in development projects, especially development of BPC.
- Database administration and maintenance, as well as configuration and integration with other products and solutions.
- Handle ad-hoc requests related to BPC and other applications.
- Develop new in/output- and validation reports.
What you need to succeed:
A positive can-do attitude and strong drive to improve and deliver results. The ability to communicate and liaise with your future colleagues is key to success.
You have experience from similar roles and a Bachelor´s Degree within Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or comparable education and/or experience.
You are passionate about data analysis, the connection between finance and IT and thrive when you get to work in this area!
You also have:
- Advanced knowledge within Excel, which is your main tool. VBA experience is a plus.
- Experience in working with databases, such as and/or SAP HANA.
- Experience in handling and analyzing data.
- High professional knowledge in English, verbal and written.
