Responsibilities
• Manage all accounting operations
• Lead the month end closing process
• Prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site
• Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of results against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results
• Provide proactive/unsolicited consultation, interpretation, and education of financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders to drive business decisions
• Monitor and implement plant internal controls in accordance with corporate policies
• Manage recurring statutory reporting
• Manage the annual physical inventory count and financial analysis of results
• Assist with P&L, balance sheet, and cash forecasting as required
• Prepare annual budget
• Identify non-value-added processes within the department and recommend solutions

Qualifications
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Fluent in both Swedish and English
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of VAT accounting and reporting
• Knowledge of Swedish statutory accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Office products, especially MS Excel (Vlookup, pivot table, sumif, etc.)
• Good planning and organizational skills

We are looking for a Plant Controller to join our team in Trelleborg. This role provides an opportunity to fain a breadth of experience in a small to mid-size enterprise with exposure to US corporate culture. SAP is used for all ERP and accounting functions. As part of a US-based publicly owned company, day-to-day accounting is based on US GAAP, and the business has a requirement to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley with regard to compliance and disclosure.
The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing all accounting operations (A/R, A/P, G/L, inventory, cost accounting, revenue recognition, capex, etc.)
Leading the month end closing process (posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, preparing expense accruals, analyzing month end flux, submitting final actuals to Textron for consolidation, etc.)
Preparing monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site (whitebook actuals, monthly KPI, analysis of production hours, labor utilization, inventory levels and aging, etc.)
Providing timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of results against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results
Providing proactive/unsolicited consultation, interpretation, and education of financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders to drive business decisions
Monitoring and implement plant internal controls in accordance with corporate policies
Managing recurring statutory reporting (monthly VAT reporting, SCB surveys, etc.)
Managing the annual physical inventory count and financial analysis of results
Assisting with P&L, balance sheet, and cash forecasting as required
Preparing annual budget
Identifying non-value-added processes within the department and recommend solutions
Providing support to all ad hoc projects (financial analysis, variance analysis, etc.)

Skills, Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
Fluent in both Swedish and English
Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of VAT accounting and reporting
Knowledge of Swedish statutory accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Office products, especially MS Excel (Vlookup, pivot table, sumif, etc.)
Good planning and organizational skills

The Group Finance department is now looking for a Group Finance Controller/System Specialist to strengthen the team.

Your new job

In order to meet internal customer expectations, demands and requirements, we are looking for a Group Finance Controller/System Specialist.

You will be a key player in the Group Finance department, and your key responsibility will be to support and develop the common reporting consolidation tool, BPC, which is used throughout the Trelleborg Group. Working closely with the stakeholders and the finance team, you will ensure that we deliver the right solutions and support to our colleagues, both locally and world-wide.

Some of your tasks and responsibilities:

- Take active part in development projects.
- Main responsibility for technical end user support, concerning Excel, BPC, in- and output reports.
- Develop new in/output- and validation reports.
- Take responsibility for the administration of users and the maintenance of BPC security.
- Ad hoc assistance to Group Management.
- Support with other tasks within the function Group Finance.

What you need to succeed:

A positive can-do attitude and strong drive to improve and deliver results. You are service minded and comfortable with a lot of stakeholder contact in different countries. The ability to communicate and liaise with different business stakeholders is key to success.

You have around 5 years of work experience from similar roles and a Bachelor´s Degree within Finance and/or Computer Science.

You are passionate about the connection between finance and IT and thrive when you get to work in this area!

You also have:

- Advanced knowledge within Excel, which is your main tool. VBA experience is a plus.
- High professional knowledge in English, verbal and written.

Experience in working with databases, is also considered a merit.
