Our facilities are located in Trelleborg at the southern tip of Sweden, a virtual stone’s throw away from the central station. The complex itself is a three-story building from the early 1900s with well-lit, roomy offices, easy access to all departments and an upstairs cantina.

Main responsibilities
Independently run our UV flexo printing press and conduct print trials in the frame of e.g. customer projects, internal development projects and co-supplier projects for the growing sub-market segments in the Narrow Web Industry, for instance shrink sleeves and flexible packaging
Own the press schedule with regards to coordinating and scheduling printing trials and maintaining a “state of the art 2022” press and press room in all aspects
Provide project leader and/or their delegates support in print process questions with aim to improve existing products and processes and also for new development
Participate in internal and external trouble shooting meetings that are product (UV curable coatings & inks, water based inks & coatings, etc) and/or process related (Flexo, offset, screen, etc)
Arrange a range of different set ups/modules, pre-designed to be used for internal testing and for customer trials (e.g. module for printing shrink sleeves)
Provide printing assistance to sales, marketing and customer requests
Continuously maintain and improve the press and press room area in all of its aspects
Responsible for designing and keeping track of all documentation related to press trials and press room
Requirements
Engineer with printing and press experience, preferably flexo presses
Strong technical and print-mechanical skills (Narrow Web presses)
Good knowledge of printing processes (flexo, offset and screen)
Knowledge of UV curable and WB inks
Knowledge of labels, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging applications
Trouble shooting capabilities
Ability to work with others (internally/externally) at all levels
Good English language skills
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
Builds trust with sales and customers
Execution driven
Team player with positive enthusiasm and willingness to learn in changing environment
High energy level and dedication
Good organisational skills and problem solving ability
